The following images show some of the beads made in classes we have had. Most are from Intro to Lampwork (Beadmaking) classes and technique classes. Some non-lampwork images are from wire work classes. Take a look!

Sandhill is a private studio where the art of Lampworking, with a focus on beadmaking, is taught.

Lampworking is the process of working glass rods in the flame of a torch to make various objects (such as beads) of various designs.

The lampworking studio is set up with six well lit and heavily ventilated stations. Nortel Minor Bench Burners are used. The studio is fully stocked with Effetre (Moretti), Bullseye and CIM glasses.

Other classes, such as jewelry making are also available.

In addition, stained glass classes have been taught.

Fusing classes and PMC classes are being developed.

PLEASE REFER BACK TO THIS PAGE FOR PHOTOS THAT WILL SOON BE ADDED!
